Innovation landscaping to identify new technologies
42 Technology has worked on a number of projects to identify new non-obvious or unfamiliar technologies to address specific application requirements.
Using MECE (mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive) mapping, the team can produce an exhaustive landscape of potential technological methods addressing the required function.
Often this identifies technologies that are proven in different applications but not yet applied to the specific client application, but sometimes identifies opportunities for genuine new technology innovation.
Why MECE?
A MECE diagram provides a catalogue of ideas for possible technologies and processes to make improvements in a range of areas, thus revealing the space for effective innovation.
