Helping our clients with their sustainability and net zero journeys is a core pillar in 42T's ambition to make the world a better place through innovative technology development.

As a leading product development and manufacturing innovation consultancy based in Cambridgeshire, 42T views their CCT membership as an opportunity to connect and collaborate with innovators and share knowledge in the cleantech area to help bring on new technologies and ideas.

CCT describes themselves as "a leading membership organisation and a powerful catalyst in the cleantech sector responding to global sustainability challenges. We work across the low carbon economy to facilitate innovation partnerships and technology commercialisation in some of the most dynamic sectors, including energy, transport, green buildings, water, smart cities, and hydrogen."

"We are firmly at the heart of the Cambridge Phenomenon, and are linked to some of the most highly innovative centres both in the UK and internationally through our global cluster partners."

42T - an important regional stakeholder

One of the first events 42T is due to be part of is an ecosystem engagement workshop held with the Cambridge and Peterborough Combined Authority that will explore the potential for developing the cleantech and agri-tech sectors in the region.

Sam Goodall, Chief Executive of CCT, says: "The workshop will seek to understand the needs of different ecosystem partners and organisations.  It will present early findings from stakeholder interviews and research into the region as well as running interactive sessions to understand synergies and opportunities for multi-stakeholder activities, initiatives and projects."

42T's Head of Energy and workshop delegate, Adam Robinson, says: "In addition to providing a platform for networking with peers in the climate tech and agri-tech sectors, the workshop presents an opportunity for research partners to actively contribute to the development roadmap of these regional industries. We eagerly anticipate sharing our ideas and gaining valuable insights into this crucial economic and sustainability initiative."

Dr Jon Spratley, CEO at 42 Technology, adds: "At 42T, we are passionate about making the world a better place with our innovative technology developments. Sustainability is a core pillar in this ambition which we achieve by assisting our international client base to make their own net zero and sustainability goals a reality. We are keen to contribute to the advancement of cleantech and beyond, shaping crucial industries and their impact across the globe."
