Great employers make working life more like fun and an all round team effort but how does one quantify that? We surveyed our staff opinion (anonymised) as part of an award scheme recently, and were pleased with a great result.
The reason may have something to do with our efforts to foster the physical and mental health of our employees which is why we're always finding ways to encourage better wellness and activity, support our staff with great schemes, and why we have a full roster of planned social activities all year. Of course, our work is also interesting, challenging and rewarding too.
It's good to know that our employees rate us so highly and we were honoured to be awarded Platinum status in a regional award scheme.
The Pure Best Employers programme is all based on employee survey scores - if an employer is placed in the top 25 percent, they're invited to apply for accreditation. This involves completing an application and giving evidence from colleagues about what makes the company an outstanding employer.

To make it to the top 25%, 42T had to demonstrate exceptional employee survey scores and provide evidence of what makes us an outstanding employer. An independent panel of judges then evaluated our responses and survey results and made their decision.

"There are other things that we've been doing for some time, for instance, we provide free delivered employee lunches where folks can choose from a range of options - salads and sandwiches - from a local provider. We also provide fruit for the office each morning."
