Editor Jo Francis of Printweek recently interviewed Dr Peter Brown, 42T's Director of Industrial.
Peter notes, “Water-based inks are becoming increasingly common and popular in many applications, partly driven by cost, new regulations and H&S considerations. However, water is much harder to dry quickly and efficiently and so we’ve been exploring how to address this challenge."
"In some circumstances, we believe that dielectric heating by radio frequency electric fields may offer significant advantages over conventional hot-air drying which opens up exciting opportunities.”
