42 Technology appoints four new directors as new management team
December 2013
42 Technology today announced the appointment of four new directors to drive forward its ambitious business development and expansion plans.
Jeremy Carey, who re-joined the consultancy earlier in the year following a six year career with Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) will replace David Wilson as managing director. The three other new directors, who between them have over 20 years’ experience working at 42 Technology are: Sue Smith, finance director; Jon Spratley, director of business development and operations director Andrew Chapman.
The four new directors will provide a seamless transition for clients and staff as they are already running the majority of the business on a day to day basis and managing all major client relationships and projects. The move is also part of the plan put into place by the present directors to take the company forward into its next phase of development.
Existing directors Howard Biddle and Dave Wilson will move into non-executive roles to provide strategic business development and operations advice to the new team. Dave Wilson becomes deputy chairman to work alongside chairman Howard Biddle.
“42 Technology is increasingly winning larger and multiple projects from some of the world’s top consumer and business brands that see the benefits of bringing in a very capable and experienced team. The new management team that we have announced today is already managing all of those projects, as well as leading the consultancy’s new business development activity, and will now take over responsibility for the remaining aspects of the business.
Sue, Jeremy, Jon and Andrew are all highly-experienced senior managers. They are known and respected by clients, by everyone who works here and our network of associates, and they have the ambition and drive to take 42 Technology up to the next level.”
